Changzhou, China: On June 8, 2015, Wemhoener, the global surface technology provider, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its second wholly-owned subsidiary in Changzhou, China. 

Located at the sci-tech industrial park of West Taihu lake, the new facility is set up to further expand the group’s business network. With a total investment of US$6 million and covering an area of 50 acres, the construction project is scheduled to be completed in two phases. In phase I, a production plant of about 15,000sq m will be built on the site.

The new plant will introduce more new equipment and technologies, including digital printing machines and roller coating technologies of lacquer designed for the woodworking industry. These machineries will be sold to the global market. On top of that, the company has set a sales target of RMB 200 million to be achieved by 2016.
